Army Corps of Engineers

-Cascade Locks, OR.

 

Located at river mile 146, Bonneville Dam spans the Columbia river between Oregon and Washington state. Over the past several decades it has been an environmental focal point for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as well as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).

CERCLA

-Portland Harbor, OR

Project location is river mile 9 west located within the Portland Harbor Superfund Site (PHSS)

​

2000 -  The PHSS is added to the National Priorities List due to sediment contamination and potential risk to human and environmental health via fish consumption. Contaminants include polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans.

September 2024 - Calypso is Subcontracted for an Eelgrass (Zostera spp.) delineation survey in Neah Bay, WA.
